First-class architect

Studied architecture at Tokyo University of the Arts and Graduate School.

Ever since his student days, he has thought that solving environmental and infrastructure problems through architectural design was beautiful.

For his graduation design, he converted the remains of Shoheibashi Station into a waste disposal facility, visualizing the use of water transportation on the Kanda River, which has been a logistics artery since the Edo period, raising issues about the city and proposing the need for a new return to its roots.

This proposal won a gold prize at the Japan Institute of Architects conference.

The work is housed in the collection of the Tokyo University of the Arts Museum.

In graduate school, he studied under Professor Masao Noguchi and Paola Falini of ROMA III, and conducted research on the urban structure of Orvieto, a small city in Umbria.

I have considered the mechanisms by which old cities continue to survive in terms of urban structure and architectural layout. Through this research, I have come to the conclusion that it may be possible to revitalize Japan's declining small cities through urban planning and the reuse of architecture.

After graduation, he will work as an architect at Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei, where he will be involved in architectural and urban design. Nikon's headquarters is scheduled to be completed in June 2024, and the Hokkaido Shimbun Press headquarters is scheduled to be completed in August 2024.

At Nikon headquarters, a new core format for the office has been created, and the structural beams that serve as the finishing touches are an unprecedented PC version, which is scheduled to be presented at the Structural Society of Japan.

The Hokkaido Shimbun newspaper came up with a double skin that would provide a constant media presence while reducing the environmental impact in cold climates.
